Cooktop Cove: Add sliced potatoes in a slow cooker to make this finger-licking treat

You could enjoy a different potato dish every day of the year and you still wouldn't even scratch the surface of all of the fabulous ways there are to eat them. This is a brilliant recipe; super-easy to put together, versatile and delicious. It's the ultimate fix-it-and-forget-it dish. And who would have thought that you can get crispy wedges from a slow cooker?
You could experiment with different herbs here; fresh rosemary would work beautifully. If you want to try a soft herb such as finely chopped cilantro, then try tossing it with the potatoes just before serving as it doesn't really need cooking.

1. Place the potato wedges into your slow cooker, add the other ingredients and toss thoroughly together before cooking for 4-6 hours on high.
