Vanilla Custard Cream Squares
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Place the puff pastry sheet on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
3. Bake the puff pastry sheet for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
4. In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, sugar, cornstarch, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
5. Pour the custard mixture over the puff pastry sheet and spread it evenly.
6. Bake for 25 minutes or until the custard is set.
