Hot Jezebel Dip
Ingredients:
1 jar of apricot preserves, weighing 18 ounces
1 package of cream cheese, weighing 8 ounces, softened
1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
2-3 tablespoons of horseradish
Freshly ground black pepper, as per your taste
For serving: Ritz crackers or chips
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, Dijon mustard, and horseradish. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
2. Gradually add the apricot preserves to the cream cheese mixture. Stir gently until the preserves are thoroughly combined with the other ingredients.
3. Taste the dip/sauce and adjust the spiciness to your liking by adding more horseradish if desired. Season with freshly cracked black pepper to add a hint of heat and depth of flavor.
4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
Serve with Ritz crackers or chips as dippers.
