Cooktop Cove: Put raw spinach leaves in a slow cooker with these 3 ingredients. The perfect comfort food.
By McKayla Davis
This Slow Cooker 4-Ingredient Spinach Alfredo Pasta is a comforting and creamy dish that's perfect for busy weeknights or cozy family dinners. Originating from the classic Italian Alfredo sauce, this version is simplified with just a few ingredients, making it accessible for any home cook. The addition of fresh spinach not only adds a pop of color but also a boost of nutrition, making it a dish that both kids and adults will enjoy. It's a wonderful way to bring everyone together around the table, sharing stories and laughter over a delicious meal.
This pasta pairs beautifully with a simple green salad tossed with a light vinaigrette, which adds a refreshing contrast to the creamy sauce. A side of garlic bread or warm, crusty rolls would also complement the dish nicely, perfect for soaking up any leftover sauce. For a heartier meal, consider serving it with grilled chicken or shrimp on top. And don't forget a glass of your favorite white wine or sparkling water with a slice of lemon for the adults, while the kids might enjoy a fun fruit punch.

Variations & Tips
For a protein boost, add cooked chicken breast, shrimp, or even crispy bacon bits to the pasta. If you have picky eaters, consider blending the spinach into the Alfredo sauce for a smoother texture and a hidden veggie boost. You can also swap the Parmesan for Asiago or Pecorino Romano for a different flavor profile. For a gluten-free option, use your favorite gluten-free pasta. And if you're feeling adventurous, add a pinch of nutmeg or a dash of red pepper flakes for a little extra kick.
