1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup bacon bits
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill (optional)
Directions

2. Add the sliced cucumbers to the bowl and gently toss until they are well coated with the dressing.
3. Transfer the salad to a serving dish and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits on top.
4. If desired, garnish with fresh dill for an added burst of flavor.
5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Variations & Tips
For a lighter version, you can substitute Greek yogurt for the sour cream. If you have picky eaters, consider using ranch dressing instead of the homemade dressing for a familiar flavor. Add some sliced red onions or cherry tomatoes for extra color and taste. For a vegetarian option, omit the bacon bits and add toasted sunflower seeds for a crunchy texture.
