Cooktop Cove: Absolutely divine! If there's one dish my hubby always asks for, this is it!
By Holly Owens
This Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta Bake is the ultimate comfort food mash-up that combines the best of both worlds: the hearty, savory flavors of a bacon cheeseburger and the creamy, indulgent goodness of Alfredo pasta. As someone who juggles a busy work schedule and a love for cooking, I often find myself craving meals that are both satisfying and easy to prepare. This dish is perfect for those nights when you want something special but don't have hours to spend in the kitchen. Plus, it's a great way to use up leftover ingredients and make something the whole family will love.
This pasta bake is rich and filling, so I like to serve it with a simple green salad tossed in a light vinaigrette to balance out the creaminess. A side of garlic bread or a warm baguette is perfect for soaking up any extra sauce. If you're feeling fancy, a glass of your favorite red wine pairs beautifully with the savory flavors of this dish.
Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta Bake
Servings: 6
Ingredients
12 oz rotini pasta
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups Alfredo sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup dill pickle slices
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the rotini pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
Add the ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Stir in the Alfredo sauce, cooked bacon, and diced tomatoes. Let it simmer for a few minutes to combine the flavors.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked pasta and the beef mixture. Mix well to ensure the pasta is coated.
Transfer the pasta mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with dill pickle slices before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a lighter version, you can use ground turkey instead of beef and turkey bacon. If you prefer a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture. You can also swap out the rotini for any pasta you have on hand, like penne or fusilli. For a vegetarian option, omit the beef and bacon, and add sautéed mushrooms and bell peppers for a hearty twist.
