Cooktop Cove: 'Amish Smokehouse Special' is what my family calls this dish—it’s rich, hearty, and full of flavor!
By McKayla Davis
Slow Cooker Amish BBQ Beef is a comforting dish that brings the warmth of Amish country right to your kitchen. This recipe is perfect for those busy days when you want to come home to a hearty, home-cooked meal without spending hours in the kitchen. The slow cooker does all the work, transforming a simple cut of beef into a tender, flavorful delight. It's a great dish to make for family gatherings or a cozy dinner at home.
This BBQ beef pairs beautifully with classic sides like creamy mashed potatoes or buttered corn on the cob. For a lighter option, serve it with a crisp green salad or some steamed vegetables. Don't forget some warm dinner rolls or cornbread to soak up all the delicious sauce!

Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of chili powder or a dash of hot sauce to the sauce mixture. If you prefer a smokier flavor, try adding a teaspoon of smoked paprika. For a tangier taste, increase the apple cider vinegar by a tablespoon. This dish is also great served on sandwich buns for a delicious BBQ beef sandwich. If you have picky eaters, you can serve the sauce on the side so everyone can add as much or as little as they like.
