Cowboy Meatloaf and Potato Casserole

Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon ketchup
4 cups mashed potatoes (prepared)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup crispy fried onions
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Mix until well combined.
Press the meat mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, forming an even layer.
Spread the prepared mashed potatoes over the meat layer, smoothing it out with a spatula.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the mashed potatoes.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
Sprinkle the chopped green onions and crispy fried onions on top before serving.
