Garlic Parmesan Cheeseburger Bombs
Servings: 4
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 clove garlic, minced
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
Season the beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Stir in the cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
Flatten each biscuit dough round into a 4-inch circle. Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the beef mixture into the center of each circle.
Fold the dough over the filling, pinching the edges to seal and form a ball.
Place the balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, and dried parsley.
Brush the tops of each dough ball with the garlic butter mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add some chopped jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mixture. You can also experiment with different cheeses, such as mozzarella or pepper jack, for a unique flavor profile. If you're looking for a lighter version, try using ground turkey or chicken instead of beef. For a vegetarian option, substitute the meat with a mixture of sautéed mushrooms and onions.
