Cooktop Cove: Delightfully creamy chicken and mushroom casserole recipe
By Henry Cannon
If you're looking for a relatively quick and easy casserole to make for your family's next meal, Natasha of Natasha's Kitchen has you covered. The popular YouTube chef is a self-described "Ukrainian foodie" who wants to share her recipes with the world. Her channel is home to a number of meals, ranging from dinner options to desserts.
One of Natasha's most popular videos is her recipe for a chicken and mushroom casserole. The dish is made up of tender chicken and tasty mushrooms, topped with a rich and creamy sauce. To get this recipe rolling, coat several chicken breasts in flour and sauté them on the stovetop.
Once your chicken is cooked, get started on the mushrooms. In a pan, sauté a mixture of mushrooms and onions until they start to brown.
Now it's time for the sauce. This creamy component of the meal largely consists of chicken broth and lemon juice. To see the whole recipe with the exact measurements, check out Natasha's website.
Add the chunks of chicken to your casserole pan. Then add the mushrooms and the sauce. Cover the dish with foil and stick it in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Plate and serve!
