Cooktop Cove: Put chopped beef into a slow cooker and cover with flour for this amazing dish

Beef stew is a classic - and the perfect dish for a cool night. Best yet, this slow cooker recipe below is going to make it easier than ever to whip it up whenever your heart desires.
The ingredients are household items, and all you're really going to need to get is some fresh beef the day or night before you want to cook this up.
Slow cooker beef stew
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 10 hours
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
2 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 cups beef broth
1/4 cup red wine (optional)
3 potatoes, diced
4 carrots, sliced
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 onion, chopped
Parsley
Instructions
1. Mix flour, salt, and pepper.
Thoroughly coat the meat with mixture and place in the slow cooker. You can do this in the slow cooker to save yourself a dish to wash.
2. Add remaining ingredients, and stir to mix well.
3. Cover, and cook on Low setting for 10 to 12 hours, or on High setting for 4 to 6 hours.
4. Garnish with Parsley and serve in a bowl with a piece of garlic bread on the side to dunk, and soak up that incredible slow cooked broth.
