Cooktop Cove: No carb tuna deviled eggs
There is a lot to love about low carb recipes. Not only are they low in calories and nutritious, but they can also be some of the simplest recipes to make. As you can see in the recipe below, you don't always have to muck around with 'alternative flours' or create an entire casserole filled with just vegetables. Sometimes, you just have to add something new to an old favorite.
That's what's been done here with these tuna devilled eggs. Just mix up devilled eggs in your favorite way and then add a little bit of tuna to the mix. It's a powerful protein punch, as you'll get it from both the eggs and the tuna, and popping just a couple of these will be enough to keep you full for at least a couple of hours.

Cook time: 10 minutes
Total time: 25 minutes
6 hard boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon grainy mustard
1/2 can of tuna, drained
Salt, to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
Paprika, for garnish
Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and gently pop out the yolks.
Place these into a bowl and mash slightly with a fork.
To the yolks add mayonnaise, grainy mustard, tuna, and salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients together.
Using a spoon or your hands, place a bit of the mixture back into the egg where the yolk once was.
Continue until all eggs have been filled with the mixture. Sprinkle all eggs with paprika for garnish.
