If you don't want to make everything from scratch, use frozen hamburger patties and packaged gravy. It will definitely shave some time off how long it needs to cook. No one is going to judge you. Plus, gravy packets are so good these days that if you want to, you can still tell people it's homemade and no one will be the wiser.
