1 pound ground turkey
2 scallions, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg, beaten
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 hamburger buns, halved
1 avocado, sliced
4 slices tomato
Place the turkey into a mixing bowl. Form a slight well, then add the scallions, garlic, egg, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix with your hands to combine, taking care not to overwork the meat.
Divide the meat into four portions and press into patties about four inches wide and one inch thick.
Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat and add the oil. Cook the patties on both sides, flipping once. Cook approximately 7-8 minutes per side.
Remove the patties from the pan and set aside. Grill or toast the buns, and assemble the burgers with avocado slices and tomato.
