1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped in a small dice
2 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
24 wonton wrappers
4 slices bacon
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a muffin tin, making sure that each cup is greased.
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Add the ground beef to the frying pan along with the onion. Cook beef and onion together until beef is browned and the onion has softened, about 10 minutes.
Add the garlic to the beef and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
Place one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup, pressing it down on the bottom and up the sides as you do.
Spoon in some of the beef mixture into each wonton wrapper.
Place the muffin tin into the ove and bake for 12 minutes.
Top all beef in the wonton wrappers with a tablespoon or so of cheddar cheese.
Broil for 3 mins or until cheese is melted and wonton wrappers are crispy.
While the cupcakes are baking, fry the bacon in a separate frying pan. When done, drain the bacon on paper towels and crumble.
Remove the muffin tin from the oven and sprinkle crumbled bacon over each cheeseburger cupcake.
