3 bosc pears, peeled, cored, and diced
1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground cloves
½ teaspoon allspice
4 large eggs
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preheat the oven to 350F and spray a 12-cup Bundt pan with nonstick baking spray.
In a medium-large mixing bowl, combine the pear pieces and sugar and allow to rest 1 hour at room temperature.
In a second medium mixing bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, ground cloves, and allspice. Set aside.
In a small bowl, whisk the eggs until they start to lighten in color, then add the yogurt and oil. Pour this mixture into the bowl with the pears and stir to combine.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet and fold until homogenous.
Pour the cake batter into the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
