¾ cup cola
¾ cup barbecue sauce, plus additional for finishing if desired
Place the trivet in the Instant Pot.
Season the ribs generously with salt and pepper, place them on top of the trivet in the Instant Pot, and add barbecue sauce and cola.
Close the lid, and turn the valve to the sealing position. Select high pressure, and set the timer for 30 minutes.
When the cooking time is up, let the pressure release naturally for about 15 minutes, and then quick release any remaining pressure.
Remove the ribs from the pot, leaving the cooking liquid in the pot.
Serve immediately, or brush the ribs with additional barbecue sauce and broil or grill for six to eight minutes to finish them.
