Cooktop Cove: Tired of chicken? This easy honey-glazed salmon will shake up your dinner routine
By Robin Donovan
A slow cooker is not only convenient but also delightfully versatile. While we normally think of it as an appliance made for cooking stews, soups and large hunks of meat, it's even more flexible than that. The slow and even heating method makes it ideal for cooking delicate foods like salmon. The recipe below is a prime example.
In this simple recipe, salmon fillets are cooked gently to tender, flaky perfection in a sweet-savory glaze that combines honey and Dijon mustard. Serve it with a side salad or roasted broccoli and a no-fuss rice pilaf for a delicious and healthy meal.
