Cooktop Cove: These 5-ingredient peach dumplings are the easiest dessert ever
By Emily Monaco
Refrigerated crescent rolls form the ideal base for quick-and-easy baked fruit dumplings. In the recipe below, you wrap the dough around canned peach sections and drizzle them with peach syrup, butter and cinnamon sugar. The dumplings bake up into a dessert that's tender inside, crisp outside and utterly delicious.
While these dumplings are perfect on their own, they're even yummier when served with a creamy topping. Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream or even sour cream are all tasty options. Once they melt into the hot crevices of the dumplings, this dessert becomes a true comfort food delight.
