Cooktop Cove: These Easter egg truffles offer a new canvas for color
Painting Easter eggs is a seasonal tradition, but with the recipe below, your Easter eggs will get a little bit sweeter. These pastel-colored truffles start with a white chocolate ganache base. Coated in candy melts, they become a canvas for drizzling and designing. You can even add silver candy balls or sprinkles to make them more distinct.
Decorating these truffles is a great project to do with kids. Be sure to have an adult manages the tempering, as the chocolate can get quite hot. Cover the table with newspaper before starting, so that everyone can have tons of fun without worrying about the mess (or the cleanup).
