Cooktop Cove: Forget the drive-through! These slow cooker sloppy joes satisfy the cravings

Most of us still know the ingredients of a Big Mac by heart: two all-beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun. Right? McDonald's’ Big Mac is an iconic American foods. But what if we told you that you could get all of that delicious flavor from your own slow cooker?
This recipe combines ground beef, a good melting of cheese, cream cheese, tomatoes, onions, Thousand Island dressing and pickles — all the things that make a burger taste like a Big Mac. Spoon it onto a sesame seed bun, and you’ve got yourself a mouth-watering meal. Your whole family will love Big Mac sloppy joes!
Slow cooker Big Mac sloppy joes

1 pound ground beef
1 pound Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
One 8-ounce package cream cheese
3 medium tomatoes, seeded and diced
1/2 small onion, diced
1/2 cup Thousand Island salad dressing
1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
2 teaspoons white vinegar
6 hamburger buns
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the beef to the skillet and cook it, breaking up with a spatula until browned, about 5 minutes.
Transfer the meat to the slow cooker, leaving the excess fat behind.
Add the Velveeta, cream cheese, tomatoes, dressing, relish and vinegar to the slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or on high for 1 1/2 hours.
Serve hot, spooned onto hamburger buns.
