Cooktop Cove: Whenever I make this pasta recipe, it tastes even better the day after

Ina Garten's Copycat Garden Pasta is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is sure to become a family favorite. I first tried this recipe when I was visiting a friend in Italy. She served it as a side dish with a simple salad and it was so flavorful and delicious that I knew I had to recreate it at home.
This Copycat Garden Pasta is a great way to enjoy a taste of Italy without having to leave your kitchen. It's a simple dish that's full of flavor, and it's sure to be a hit with the whole family.
Ina Garten's Copycat Garden Pasta
Ingredients:
-1 pound spaghetti pasta (or any pasta of your choice)
-5 garlic cloves, minced
-16 basil leaves, chopped
-Salt and pepper to taste
-4 pints cherry tomatoes, halved
-1 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-Olive oil as needed
-1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions:
1. Combine garlic, red pepper flakes (if using), basil, salt, and pepper, and cherry tomatoes in a large bowl. Cover and set aside for 4 hours.
2. Meanwhile, before you are about to serve, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions.
3. Toss cooked pasta with cherry tomatoes bowl. Add in Parmesan cheese. Combine.
4. Serve!
