Nothing is better than a slow-cooked beef roast. This meal is pure comfort food — tender beef cooked with beer. If you haven’t cooked with beer in your slow cooker, you have been missing out! The aroma that is created while the beef and beer are simmering is like no other.
This meal is great for feeding a crowd during a football game. Throw the ingredients in the slow cooker in the morning, and this meal will be ready to serve during half-time. The great part about the recipe below is that it uses everyday, easy-to-find ingredients. Make sure to use your favorite beer in this when making!
After the cooking time is up, shred the meat and mash up the garlic cloves and stir them into the meat. I serve this tender beef on sweet Hawaiian slider rolls and top with my favorite cheese. The tender meat with the sweet Hawaiian rolls is an over-the-top game-day grub meal that can’t be beat! Invite some friends over and make this dreamy roast this weekend!

Directions1. Place a 3-pound beef chuck roast into a 6-quart or larger slow cooker.
Sprinkle the roast with the salt and pepper (½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon black pepper).
Place 4 whole garlic cloves on top of the roast.
Add 1 red sliced onion.
Then pour in 1 cup of Italian dressing.
Pour in 1 cup of your favorite beer and place 2 bay leaves on top.
2. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 8 to 10. Don’t open the lid during the cooking time.
3. Discard bay leaves.
Shred the meat with two forks.
Smash the garlic with the back of a fork, and stir the garlic into the shredded meat. Discard any fat, and drain off the grease. The end result should look like the below.
Lay out the bottoms of your Hawaiian slider buns on a tray.
Top with meat.
Add your favorite cheese slices (we are using colby jack cheese).
Melt the cheese under the broiler in the oven to your desired preference level.
Layer on the top of the Hawaiian buns over the sliders.
