Creamy Onion Dip
8 ounces plain cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1/2 cup chopped Vidalia onion
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 green onions, chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, small diced (optional)
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and mayonnaise. Mix until thoroughly blended and smooth.
Add the onions, parmesan cheese, 3/4 of the green onions, and jalapeño (optional) to the bowl, and mix until everything is fully combined.
Transfer the mixture into a slow cooker and cook on low for about 90 minutes, until it is fully heated through and bubbles form along the edges. Stir every 30 minutes.
Carefully transfer the dip from slow cooker to a casserole dish, and allow it to cool for five minutes.
