Ingredients7 pounds prime rib
2 tablespoons kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
4-6 cloves of garlic minced
Directions1. Let the meat come to room temperature.
2. Heat the oven to 450 F.
3. Rub the meat with salt, pepper and garlic on all sides. Place in a roasting pan fat-side up.
4. Roast 30 minutes, and reduce the heat to 350 F, cooking for 1 hour 40 minutes more for medium rare.
