One-pot chicken and bacon alfredo
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Serves: 4
8 ounces fettuccini noodles
1 1/2 cup cooked chicken
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 cup of cream
2 cups of broth
1/2 cup crumbled bacon
1. Add your noodles, chicken, garlic, cheese and cream to the pan. Pour your broth over all of the ingredients.
2. Place a cover on your pan and cook your dish on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
3. Make sure you stir your dish frequently, so all of your noodles are covered, and to ensure even cooking.
4. Once the noodles are soft, and the sauce has thickened, stir in 1/2 cup of crumbled bacon pieces.
5. Top with parsley and ground black pepper before serving.
Pro tip: This recipe calls for precooked chicken. You can either cook the chicken the night before or grab a rotisserie chicken from the store. If you opt for the latter, consider adding a little less garlic to the dish.
