You can use any type of deli meat you like for this dish. Roast beef, pastrami, ham or turkey are all suitable. For the best results, spring for the fancy pickles. You won’t regret it. Cream cheese pickles (party snacks)

5 minutes, plus overnight to chill

4 kosher dill pickles, patted dry
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, at room temperature
8 slices thin-sliced deli meat
Spread cream cheese onto each pickle so the sides are completely coated.
Wrap two slices of meat around each.
Cover and refrigerate the pickles overnight.
To serve, slice into thick rounds.
