With just a few ingredients, you can have a side dish that will knock your socks off. Make plump spears of asparagus one of the ingredients, and then add smoky, salty, flavorful bacon. This dish is easy to make and guaranteed to become a favorite.
Try this quick side dish, and you’ll be amazed at how much flavor it packs, considering that it has only six ingredients, including salt and pepper. If you don’t have a shallot, you can substitute a couple of cloves of minced garlic or a fourth of a red onion, thinly sliced. The Parmesan cheese isn’t totally necessary, but I love the texture and flavor it adds to the dish, so I wouldn’t recommend skipping it.

These are exactly what they claim to be (sticky, spicy, oven-baked), but they’re also incredibly tasty and far easier than they have any right to be. Seriously, you might make them every night from now on. They’re that good!
