To start, poke a hole in the bottom of an egg and drain the inside. The eggshells will serve as the mold for the cupcakes.
To keep in theme (and if you have extra time), dye the eggshells different colors.
Let them dry.
While the shells dry, it's time to mix your cake batter together.
Divide the batter into a few bowls and add dye if desired. This is where the recipe can get meticulous, but makes for a more colorful, exciting outcome.
Spray cooking oil inside the shells.
Spoon the colored batter into piping bags and pipe different colors into the shells. Once filled, stick the trays in the oven.
Scrape off the excess batter with a knife.
This is what the inside should look like.
