Lay your whole brisket on top of the bed of vegetables and cook everything for about eight hours on low.

Once everything is nice and tender, you'll add your roughly chopped cabbage and continue cooking the beef until the cabbage has softened.

Once it's done, slice up your corned beef and enjoy with cabbage, vegetables and a pint of beer (as long as you're 21 and over).
