1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup cooked sausage crumbles
24 slices pepperoni
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into 12 equal squares.
Press each dough square into the bottom and up the sides of each muffin cup, forming a small crust.
Spoon about a teaspoon of pizza sauce into each dough cup.
Divide the sausage crumbles evenly among the cups, followed by a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
Place two slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese in each cup.
Sprinkle Italian seasoning over the top of each pizza bite.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the dough is golden brown.
Let cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin. Serve warm and enjoy!
Variations & Tips
For a vegetarian version, skip the sausage and pepperoni, and add your favorite veggies like diced bell peppers or mushrooms. If you have picky eaters, you can customize the toppings to suit everyone’s taste. Try using different cheeses like cheddar or provolone for a twist, or add a bit of spice with red pepper flakes. For a gluten-free option, use a gluten-free pizza dough. Make sure to have fun with the process and encourage your kids to help with topping the bites. It's a great way to get them involved in the kitchen!
