This slow cooker 5-ingredient Caesar pork chops recipe is exactly what I reach for on those jam-packed weeknights when I still want a real dinner on the table. You literally pour bottled Caesar dressing and four pantry-friendly ingredients over pork chops in your slow cooker, turn it on, and walk away. A few hours later, you’ve got tender, saucy pork that tastes like you put in way more effort than you actually did. It’s inspired by those classic Midwestern “dump and go” crockpot recipes, but with the zippy, garlicky flavor of Caesar dressing doing all the heavy lifting.
Serve these Caesar pork chops with mashed potatoes, rice, or buttered egg noodles so you can spoon plenty of the creamy sauce over the top. Steamed green beans, roasted broccoli, or a simple side salad balance out the richness. If you’re packing lunches, tuck leftover pork and sauce into meal-prep containers with rice and frozen veggies for an easy heat-and-eat option the next day.
Slow Cooker 5-Ingredient Caesar Pork Chops
Servings: 4
Ingredients
2 pounds boneless pork chops (about 4 medium chops)
1 cup bottled creamy Caesar dressing
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
Lightly season both sides of the pork chops with salt and black pepper.
Lay the pork chops in an even layer on the bottom of a 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. It’s okay if they overlap slightly.
In a small bowl or measuring cup, whisk together the bottled Caesar dressing, chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and garlic powder until smooth.
Pour the Caesar dressing mixture evenly over the pork chops in the slow cooker, making sure all of the meat is coated in the sauce.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours, or on HIGH for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 145°F).
Once cooked, taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with additional salt and black pepper if needed. If you’d like the sauce a bit thicker, remove the lid for the last 20 to 30 minutes of cooking on HIGH to let it reduce slightly.
Serve the pork chops warm, spooning plenty of the Caesar sauce over the top. Garnish with a little extra black pepper if you like, and enjoy right away.
Variations & Tips
For creamier sauce, stir 1 to 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese into the Caesar mixture before pouring it over the pork chops. If you prefer bone-in pork chops, use them and add about 30 minutes to the cook time on LOW. To make this more of a one-pot meal, scatter baby potatoes or thick carrot slices under the pork chops before adding the sauce; just make sure they’re cut small enough to become tender in the same amount of time. If you like a little heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dressing mix. For meal prep, shred leftover pork chops right in the slow cooker, stir into the sauce, and portion over rice or pasta for easy grab-and-go lunches. You can also swap in turkey cutlets or chicken breasts if that’s what you have on hand, keeping an eye on cook time since poultry can dry out if overcooked.
